Terms of sale

Last updated August 2026

Replace this: These terms describe how the shop actually behaves, but they are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a solicitor. Have them checked before taking real orders.

Single-piece inventory

Almost everything sold here exists in a quantity of one. Adding an item to your bag does not reserve it — the piece is held for you only once you begin checkout, and that hold lasts thirty minutes. If you do not complete payment in that time, the item returns to sale.

It follows that an item in your bag or on your wishlist can sell to somebody else before you check out. We are sorry when it happens, but it is a consequence of everything being unique.

Condition and description

Every item is pre-owned unless explicitly graded “New with tags”. We grade against a published scale — see the condition guide — and photograph flaws rather than concealing them. Colours vary between screens.

Pricing

Prices are shown in the store currency and are what you pay, excluding shipping and any tax added at checkout. Where an item shows a struck-through price, that is the original retail price of the item when new, not a former price on this site.

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Your order is confirmed when the payment clears, not when you are redirected back to the site.

Returns

Set out in full on the returns page, which forms part of these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Let us know immediately if you believe someone else has access to your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute arising from them will be heard in the courts of Illinois.

Replace this: You answered “N/A” here, so this states Illinois — inferred from Summus Properties LLC being registered there. That is the normal default, but confirm it, because a governing-law clause naming the wrong state is worse than none at all.
